You will enjoy this first day to relax and visit the tourist attractions of this charming city.
Between its Utah State Capitol, its impressive Mormon Temple as well as its vibrant neighborhoods, this city offers a multitude of things to discover!

Day trip to Grand Teton and Jackson Western village
A stop in the western village of Jackson townis also worth doing.
Between its rodeos, restaurants/bars playing country music and its charming downtown, Jackson town is a charming village not to be missed during your trip.
Starting from Salt Lake City, capital of the Mormon community, you will discover the magnificent Grand Teton National Park with its stunning viewpoints, its hiking as well as its wildlife.

In-depth visit to Grand Teton National Park
You will continue today the exploration of the magnificent Grand Teton National Park. In particular by crossing the scenic road of more than 70 kms.
Also take advantage of these moments with nature to go hiking, horseback riding, kayaking or simply to observe wildlife: Bears, Bison, eagles and many other wild animals await you this day!

Discovery of Yellowstone Park
Jackson Hole → Yellowstone National Park
You will explore over the next 3 days the famous Yellowstone National Park. Once a refuge for Native American peoples, it is now world-renowned for its geysers, its hot springs, its waterfalls and canyons that will take your breath away… Not to mention of course its wild bison. This park with multicolored hues is a pure natural wonder.
Set out to discover the Grand Prismatic. It is the main basin you absolutely must visit during your stay around Yellowstone. We strongly advise you to visit it before 8 a.m. and/or after 7 p.m. Furthermore, do not approach this basin, it is over 70° !
Visit the Morning Glory Hot Springs basin.
Go hiking around the West Tumb Basin loop Trail. It is a loop trail less than 2 kilometers long. It borders a lake and offers several activities. The best time to visit is from May to October.
Admire the geysers of Old Faithful. It is the most popular attraction in the park. Its eruptions occur approximately every hour and a half and reach heights of up to 50 meters ! The show is absolutely breathtaking !

Discovery of Yellowstone Park
Explore the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Smaller than its neighbor the Grand Canyon in Arizona, it measures "only" 30 kilometers. When visiting it, you will be able to admire several waterfalls and various observation points with spectacular views. The cliff near the south bank of the canyon is known as Artist Point, and in the morning, a clear rainbow often appears near the falls. The spectacle is magical!
Discover the Upper & Lower Brink of the Falls. These waterfalls are very beautiful. It should be noted that the Lower Falls is more impressive than the Upper Falls. Access is very easy and well worth the visit!
Hike around the Artist Point Loop Trail. This 7km hike will take you to discover 2 beautiful lakes and many pools. Keep your eyes open, you are walking through Grizzly bear forests!

Yellowstone Park Discovery
Observe the magnificent Mammoth Hot Springs. It is a natural limestone mineral formation that you absolutely must see at sunrise. The sunrise is magnificent because the morning light illuminates the landscape. The spectacle is simply superb!
Explore the Lamar Valley.
Heading towards Lamar Valley, you will be able to see hundreds of bison frolicking on the roads and meadows. The best time to discover this valley is at sunset.

Visit of a Western Town and Cody
Yellowstone National Park → Cody
This day will also be marked by a visit to a ranch as well as the famous museum on the American West: the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
Stroll late in the afternoon in the town of Cody.
Leaving the magnificent Yellowstone park, you will discover this day The Old Trail Town, which is an exact recreation of a typical Western town.

Canyon and picturesque mountain area visit
Also discover the Trial End State Historic Site, which is a visit to a historic manor.
Heading towards Sheridan, a typical town in Wyoming, you will drive through the Shell Canyon as well as its views of the Shell Falls.
Upon arriving in Sheridan, you will have time to stroll through its nearby parks and forests.

Visit to Devil Tower and Deadwood
In the afternoon, discover the charming town of Deadwood.
Many activities are possible: Discover its old gold mine, its exhibitions on nearby festivities, or its historic homes.
Today, you will discover a wonder of nature: Devil Tower. It is an enormous block of rock, over 264 meters. Rising out of nowhere, it is possible to discover it on foot through walks that wind through the prairies and woodlands.

Discovery of Rapid City and Badlands National Park
Discover today the surroundings of the city of Rapid City.
This city is also known for its annual events such as the Sturgis Rally, a true mecca for motorcyclists as well as the BlackHills Powwow, a gathering of Native American tribes (and their fans) with music and ancestral dances.
A change of scenery is guaranteed and the experience memorable! If you cannot arrive on a festival day, go discover the magnificent Badlands National Park.

Discovery of Mount Rushmore and One of the World's Longest Caves
Also discover the Crazy Horse Memorial nearby, its immense mountain sculpture as well as its Native American museum.
In the afternoon, set off to discover Wind Cave National Park, one of the longest underground caves in the world!
If time permits, also stroll through Custer State Park with its waterfalls and stunning landscapes.
This day will be marked by discovery. In the morning you will visit the famous and unique Mount Rushmore where are located the faces of several American Presidents.

Passport
To enter the United States, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay. However, it is strongly recommended that it remains valid for at least six months beyond your planned end date of stay.
The passport must be an electronic (biometric) passport, recognizable by the electronic chip symbolized by a logo on the cover, to benefit from the visa exemption program.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa – Visa Waiver Program (VWP)
Nationals of the European Economic Area and Switzerland whose country is a member of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are eligible for visa exemption for tourist stays. Canadian nationals also benefit from visa exemption to enter the United States.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days. The authorized length of stay is determined by the immigration officer upon entry to the territory and cannot be extended under the visa exemption program.
Authorities may also request:
an exit ticket (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
proof of accommodation in the country.
ESTA Authorization (Electronic System for Travel Authorization)
Before arriving in the United States, anyone traveling under the Visa Waiver Program must obtain an ESTA authorization (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). Canadian nationals are generally exempt from this requirement.
ESTA is an electronic prior authorization required by the U.S. authorities. It allows verification of the traveler's eligibility before departure:

answers to questions regarding security and criminal background
The application must be made online on the official U.S. government website (esta.cbp.dhs.gov), ideally at least 72 hours before departure. ESTA is valid for two years (or until passport expiration) and allows multiple entries. Fees apply when submitting the application. The authorization confirmation must be presented to the airline and immigration services.
Travel with children
Minors must have their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay and their own ESTA authorization if their nationality requires it.
In some European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the country may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry requirements may vary depending on nationality and whether the country is a member of the Visa Waiver Program. Travelers not eligible for VWP must obtain a U.S. visa before departure. Affected travelers should contact the U.S. embassy or consulate in their country of residence.
