Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Los Angeles
Aéroport De Los Angeles → Hermosa Beach
Landing in Los Angeles and pickup of your SUV at the airport.
Head to Hermosa Beach, a laid-back seaside resort in the south of the bay, far from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first stroll along the Strand, the promenade that runs along the beach, then head to the pier to admire the sunset over the Pacific.
A gentle introduction to the California spirit.

Hollywood and Mythical Beaches
A day dedicated to the City of Angels. Start with Hollywood Boulevard and its Walk of Fame, where more than 2,700 stars pay tribute to cinema legends, then stop by the TCL Chinese Theatre and its star handprints.
Then head up to the Griffith Observatory for a stunning view of the city and the famous Hollywood sign. At the end of the day, head back down to the ocean: the Santa Monica State Beach pier, then the bohemian atmosphere and skaters of Venice Beach.
Discover Universal or Warner studios

Calico and the Entry to Route 66
Los Angeles → Kingman
You leave the coast for the Mojave Desert. You then cross vast desert expanses before reaching Kingman, in Arizona.
First stop at Calico, an old mining town from the silver rush of the 1880s: saloons, mine, wooden shops… you feel like you're still in the Old West era.
Kingman, a true crossroads of the Route 66 with its museum dedicated to the "Mother Road".

Route 66 in All Its Nostalgia
The vintage gas stations, old signs and endless landscapes make up a postcard of 1950s America.
A must-see stop at Seligman, a small town that inspired the film Cars, with its colorful diners and retro shops.
You end the day at Williams, the "gateway to the Grand Canyon", with a very welcoming western atmosphere.

The Grand Canyon
Williams → Tuba City
Route towards the Grand Canyon National Park, then through the Navajo reservation to Tuba City.
An exceptional day at the Grand Canyon National Park. Along the South Rim, viewpoints follow one another: Mather Point, Yavapai Point, then Desert View and its watchtower, from where the gaze plunges nearly 1,600 meters to the Colorado River.
Take time to walk a few hundred meters on the Rim Trail to enjoy the spectacle of colors that change throughout the day.
Take a helicopter tour

Monument Valley, Land of the Navajos
Tuba City → Page
Route towards Monument Valley, one of the most iconic landscapes of the American West. You then head to Page, on the edge of Lake Powell.
The red sandstone buttes of Monument Valley, rising in the middle of the desert, have served as the backdrop for dozens of westerns, from John Ford to Forrest Gump.
Travel along the valley's scenic drive or, better yet, let a Navajo guide you through areas accessible only with them.

Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell
A day rich in natural wonders. The highlight: a guided tour of Upper Antelope Canyon, a narrow sandstone canyon carved by water and wind, where light draws orange waves across the walls.
Then head to Horseshoe Bend, where the Colorado forms a perfect horseshoe meander, 300 meters below your feet.
End with Lake Powell, its turquoise waters and red cliffs: a striking contrast, ideal for a swim or a sunset stroll.
4x4 excursion with a Navajo guide

Bryce Canyon, the stone amphitheater
Page → Bryce Canyon
Head to Utah and the Bryce Canyon National Park.
Here, erosion has sculpted thousands of "hoodoos", fairy chimneys in orange, pink and white hues, gathered in immense natural amphitheaters.
The viewpoints of Sunrise Point, Sunset Point and Inspiration Point offer spectacular views.
For hikers, the Navajo Loop trail allows you to descend into the heart of this stone forest. At over 2,400 meters altitude, the night sky there is of rare purity.

Zion and night at the bison ranch
Bryce Canyon → Zion National Park
The Zion National Park awaits you with its breathtaking cliffs and emerald river, the Virgin River.
A shuttle takes you to the bottom of the canyon, from where wonderful hikes depart such as the Riverside Walk or the Emerald Pools.
In the evening, a unique experience: you sleep in a cabin in the heart of a ranch, amid herds of bison. An authentic night under Utah's starry sky.

Valley of Fire and arrival in Las Vegas
Zion National Park → Las Vegas
On your way to Nevada, make a stop at Valley of Fire State Park.
Its flaming red sandstone rocks, its arches and its petroglyphs over 2,000 years old make it one of the most beautiful desert parks.
Late afternoon: arrival in Las Vegas and check-in at your 4* hotel on the Strip.
As night falls, the city lights up: Bellagio fountains, giant casinos, electric atmosphere.

Las Vegas, entertainment capital
Free day to enjoy Las Vegas at your own pace. Along the Strip, each hotel is a show in itself: Venice at the Venetian, Paris and its Eiffel Tower, Egypt at the Luxor…
In the evening, head to Fremont Street, old Vegas, under its immense luminous vault. Shopping enthusiasts will find their happiness in the city's outlets, at very attractive prices.
Sphere, limousine tour or Cirque du Soleil show

Death Valley, Death Valley
Back to the desert with the national park of Death Valley, the hottest and lowest place in North America.
The landscapes there are lunar: Zabriskie Point and its golden hills, Badwater Basin and its salt desert 86 meters below sea level. Don't miss the Mesquite Flat dunes at sunset.
Sleeping within the park itself is a true privilege: the silence and starry sky there are unforgettable.

Sequoia, the kingdom of giants
Death Valley → Parc National De Sequoia
Complete change of scenery: you leave the desert for the forests of the Sierra Nevada.
The Sequoia National Park is home to the world's largest trees, including the General Sherman, which stands 83 meters tall and is over 2,000 years old.
Take a walk through the Giant Forest amid these colossal trees, then, for the bravest visitors, climb the steps of Moro Rock for a breathtaking view of the mountains.

Yosemite, Gem of the Sierra Nevada
Parc National De Sequoia → Mariposa
Day in the Yosemite National Park, one of the most beautiful in the United States. From Tunnel View, discover the valley framed by the El Capitan cliff, the Bridalveil Fall waterfalls and the famous Half Dome dome.
At the bottom of the valley, trails lead to the foot of Yosemite Falls, among the highest waterfalls in North America. Meadows, rivers and pine forests complete this grandiose landscape.
Night in Mariposa, a small town from the gold rush.

Arrival in San Francisco
Mariposa → San Francisco
Route towards San Francisco Bay, where you return your vehicle in downtown.
Here, the car is no longer useful: everything can be discovered on foot, by tram or cable car.
Don't miss the Golden Gate Bridge, to be admired from Battery Spencer or Crissy Field. Then stroll through the steep streets, from Lombard Street to Chinatown, before heading to Fisherman's Wharf and the sea lions at Pier 39.

Alcatraz and Sausalito
In the morning, board for Alcatraz, the most famous prison island in the United States, which saw Al Capone pass through. The audio-guided tour, narrated by former inmates and guards, is fascinating.
In the afternoon, cross the Golden Gate Bridge by bike to Sausalito, a charming waterfront village with colorful houses and houseboats.
Return by ferry, with a magnificent view of the city.
Bike rental and return ferry from Sausalito

San Francisco → Aéroport De San Francisco
Last breakfast facing the bay. Then free transfer to San Francisco airport.
End of your trip, your head full of wide open spaces and unforgettable memories.
